うp (upu)

The meaning is to "upload" to the server.

If people type "up" on a Japanese keyboard, it will show as "うp".

A person who uploads a file is called うp主 (upu shu).

shu= a master, an owner, a host and so on.

I think people think "upu" sounds cute.
